Advocacy coverage

Bill 88, 2022. Zachary Lui served as Director of Marketing at Traditional Chinese Medicine Ontario (TCMO) during the 2022 campaign that successfully amended Bill 88 (Working for Workers Act, 2022) to remove Schedule 5, which would have repealed the Traditional Chinese Medicine Act and dissolved the profession's regulatory college within days of passage.

In that role, Zachary helped lead the marketing and outreach effort that coordinated 14 letters of support from national regulatory boards, industry leaders, and suppliers, and was personally interviewed across newspaper, broadcast, and online media including the Toronto Star, CBC News Morning, and The Alan Carter Program on 640 Toronto. The amendment removing Schedule 5 passed in March 2022, preserving the regulatory framework for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ontario.
